It’s been at least a week since the last update, I know, but there’s been a good reason for the delay. My wife and I have been house-hunting with just about every available minute, trying to find our dream home and collect on that $8,000 tax refund you’ve maybe been hearing about. The time just seemed right, with interest rates at very low levels, a lot of homes on the market at lower prices, not as much competition to buy as in years’ past. It also helped that I lucked into a job that I expect to keep until I retire, win the lottery (and then retire), or publish the next multi-million best-selling book. |
