At the gym on Tuesday night, our substitute BodyPump instructor ran us through the paces with cooldown at the end. While we were lying flat on our backs, she told us to stick one leg straight up in the air and grab the ankle ankle.
Now, I’ve been a relatively flexible guy most of my life. Back in college, I could touch my elbows together behind my back — primarily because I didn’t have any of those pesky “muscles” to get in the way.
But grab my ankles? While I’m lying down? I could have had Mini-Me standing on my outstretched hands and still been a foot short. Are you kidding?
maybe you should switch to YOGA
Are you sure it isn’t because of the belly in the middle that kept you from grabbing ankles instead of short arms?
